"DANGER ZONE"-proceed with caution!

Desire to learn how to write like a poet. Inspired by a man who leads his flock like a shepherd. First need to pray for guidance from the LORD. For He's the poet of all poets. The creator of all creations. The giver of all gifts. He hears prayers of all sorts and answers them according to His will. Lovely are the answers that come from above, for you know they were sent direct from His heavenly throne. Humble hearts bow down to the Master... whose grace and mercy reign down from the Father...who delights when His own surrender their all at the feet of His Son...who paved the way for all to commune with the Father. Perfect fellowship that was lost because of the fall of the first parents at the beginning of all creations. The Father whose wisdom is infinite and unfathomed had thought of us sinners despite of our transgressions. He chooses to love us- a love that is pure and unconditional. A love for all man so amazing that He thought of sending a sacrifice so perfect. All God all man His name is Jesus. His only begotten Son nailed on the cross at calvary. Powerful are His promises He never fails to fulfill on the third day He arose again as He promised. Now seated at the right hand of the Father. Victory has been won because of Jesus! A victory so timeless and incredibly real that some forget it's been shown by our Savior. Because of His obedience and love for His Father. Man can once again have the fellowship with the Father.[* Confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.] Let us all rejoice and sing to our Father.

don't know how that poem sounded. first time for everything, right? anyways... here's another composition i want to try. yesterday at work i was stomped with a lesson that a friend was trying to convey. have this assistant store manager friend at work and i'm blessed when he does or says something that he knows I need to be reminded about. at a group meeting at the end of our shift last night he briefly reminded us about some of the rules that our new store manager wants to enforce. he said that our management would now start to closely monitor the employees' attendance and tardiness. he added that if they would do (enforce) it to one they would do it to the others. as he was saying this to the group he kept on looking at me without mentioning my name (thought that was nice of him to do that because he would normally embarrass anybody about anything right in front of everybody). i knew he was giving me a warning as he frequently would when i'd come to work late. praise God for my friend because he knows i respect him more and more when he tells me about my shortcomings (he would ask me this, "would Jesus do something like that?"). i also confront him with matters that he says and does that are not right. i always remind him that i love him no matter what (and he just blushes) especially when he gives me a hard time about anything that i do wrong. he and i talk about Jesus at work as i would do with my other co-workers. he knows i'm always promoting Jesus to him. you see my friend is homosexual and his health is not doing well. he's been hiv positive for many years but i always pray to God that the Lord would teach me how to show how Jesus would care for people like him. look at him from God's eyes. treat him the same way Jesus would. and prayerfully tell him that he needs Jesus to be his comforter and friend. in light of this, i have another co-worker friend that told me a few weeks back that his grandmother invited him to come to church with her on christmas day which is just a few weeks from now. so i asked him yesterday if he plans to do that and he said he's not going because he does not like church people. at work church is not a favorite subject and they talk about church people not practicing what they preach. one time there was this one young lady that was preaching about christianity at work and she was the laughing stock of the whole store because i heard later on that she was living in with a church minister. i have another co-worker friend that was in a gang in the community. he once told me "i know what you're trying to do, you're talking to me about Jesus", "you see i have something to tell you, i had a room mate before that was a youth leader but then later on everybody found out that he got one of the youth girls pregnant". i was shocked after i heard that from him about his room mate. my response to him was "you see that room mate of yours was misrepresenting christianity but let me share with you what real christianity is all about. it's about accepting Jesus as your Lord and personal Savior of your life. and follow Jesus as the role model for christianity. He is the light of your life. days...months...and years... had passed by and i continued to talk about Jesus and God at work. up to this day i still do the same thing and i will never give up on my friends. my only hope is for their salvation is Jesus Christ. and i pray that i will patiently endure testifying about Jesus to them and for them to witness me live a Christlike life that will point them to the heavenly Father.

*John 15:*13 says (KJV)...

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

One way we can point others to Christ: go NORTH bound on HIGHWAY 3:16, take the NARROW WAY exit, stay on the SERVICE road, look for the TREE in between 2 trees.
