PSALM 120 A PILGRIM SONG (The Message)

I'm in trouble. I cry to GOD,
desperate for an answer:
"Deliver me from the liars, GOD!
They smile so sweetly but like through their teeth."

Do you know what's next, can you see what's coming,
all you barefaced liars?
Pointed arrows and burning coals
will be your reward.

I'm doomed to live in Meshech,
cursed with a home in Kedar,
My whole life lived camping
among quarreling neighbors.
I'm all for peace, but the minute
I tell them so, they go to war!

Applications: Need to exercise spiritual muscles to stay active in the faith.
God did not promise a full comprehension. We should not desire
explanation from Him. Have a faith of the little children.
Develop a posture of dependence. When trouble constantly attacks
you, it brings you down, but still maintain your posture because
GOD IS IN CONTROL! His wisdom is unfathomable. Let it perculate!

2) DELIVERANCE 101
Assurance of the Lord
For every trouble there is deliverance
Don't listen to lying lips, they are deceitful
You are created in His image

3) SOJOURN 101
We are aliens in this world
We have dissatisfactions
We grow in discontent
Our goal is heavenward
Looking forward for the Final moment to be with my Maker
