*I got a welcoming greeting from blanc-papillon as soon as I got out of my car right after I went home from church this past Sunday (three days ago). Thank you, LORD, for your never ending encouragement!!! I immediately smiled as soon as I took notice of her (blanc) flying back and forth in front of my sight and between the house of my family and the two neighbor's houses. What's so interesting is that everytime she appeared in the past it's always at the same location and she would travel around the same vicinity while I watched her moved her gentle white wings.
**Yesterday at work I received a call from a church member (Paolo) and told me that his boss/friend from work was in a car accident yesterday morning and was taken to Parkland hospital (my work place). Paolo told me he along with his co-worker's had difficulty contacting his boss and his boss' family member to find out the status of his condition from the horrible accident he was involved in. But finally they were able to talk to his boss' mom after trying to contact them so many times. Paolo requested if I could check on his boss for him since he could not come to the hospital. Anyways, i was able to see Paolo's boss and heard first-hand the "awesome" work of GOD in this man's life. He told me that his new truck was crushed "flat" (he visually used his fingers to illustrate how flat his car got after the horrible incident). We called Paolo from his boss' hospital room and his boss left Paolo a message in his voicemail to reassure Paolo that's he is okay and he is very thankful to GOD that he is still alive.
***Right before my shift at the hospital ended last night, I had a nice conversation about GOD with one of the docs. She is a friend and her native country is India. Most of my co-workers are from the same country and I have a close friendship relationship with a few of them. GOD reminded me today that HE is "everywhere", and since I was reminded of GOD'S story through Paolo's boss' car accident I thought it would be encouraging to a person (in this case, to the doc- she was on-call) to talk about GOD at this time of the night (10 p.m.). Sure enough, GOD never fails us!!! I'm hoping that I will be given an opportunity to share the gospel to many employees at the hospital while i'm there. My heart just "leap with joy" when I talk about our SOVEREIGN LORD and LORD JESUS at work. It's a lot of fun when you see in their faces how attentive they are to hear GOD'S stories about HIS GOODNESS AND FAITHFULNESS TO ALL OF US.
Thank you, FATHER, for your steadfast and everlasting love to all of us. We thank you that your mercies are new every morning. We also thank you for the grace that we see lived-out daily in your children's lives.
