My journey with the Lord of Peace and the Prince of Peace through the Book of Psalms...

I was once told by a godly woman how she had dealt with so many hopeless situations in her life when she was in China. I listened to her carefully as she testified the goodness and faithfulness of God in the lives of her whole family. I was going "WOW!!!", you seldom hear something like this, except in the bible and devotional books. I met with her three different times for lunch just so I could learn (first-hand) from the faith that she has on the Sovereign Father and Lord Jesus. Now, i thought it's a good time for me to be reminded of what I learned from that sister in Christ and apply it the adversities I am facing lately.

I thank you Father God and Lord Jesus that you give us the privilege to represent you in this lost and dying world. You are indeed the Scriptwriter of the masterpiece stories of the lives of your children. A legacy that you created since the beginning of time up to the present and onward to the future....from our forefathers Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob through the future generation....... What an honor to be a part of the legacy!!! Thank you "Abba" Father. TO GOD BE ALL THE GLORY!

THE BOOK OF PSALMS

(King James Version)
Psalm 1

Blessed is the man
That walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly,
Nor standeth in the way of sinners,
Nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
But his delight is in the law of the LORD;
And in his law doth he meditate day and night.
And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water,
That bringeth forth his fruit in his season;
His leaf also shall not wither;
And whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

The ungodly are not so:
But are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment,
Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous:
But the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Psalm 1

Blessed is the man
who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked
or stand in the way of sinners
or sit in the seat of mockers.
But his delight is in the law of the LORD,
He is like a tree planted by streams of water,
which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither.
Whatever he does prospers.

Not so the wicked!
They are like chaff
that the wind blows away.
Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,
nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.
For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous,
but the way of the wicked will perish.

Psalm 1
Oh, the joys of those
who do not follow the advice of the wicked,
or stand around with sinners,
or join in with scoffers.
But they delight in doing everything the LORD wants;
day and night they think about his law.
They are like trees planted along the riverbank,
bearing fruit each season without fail.
Their leaves never wither,
and in all they do, they prosper.

But this is not true of the wicked.
They are like worthless chaff, scattered by the wind.
They will be condemned at the time of judgment.
Sinners will have not place among the godly.
For the LORD watches over the path of the godly,
but the path of the wicked leads to destruction.

Psalm 1

How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked.
Nor stand in the path of sinners,
Nor sit in the seat of scoffers!
But his delight is in the law of the LORD,
And in His law he meditates day and night.
He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water,
Which yields its fruit in its season
And its leaf does not wither;
And in whatever he does, he prospers.

The wicked are not so,
But they are like chaff which the wind drives away.
Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,
Nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.
For the LORD knows the way of the righteous,
But the way of the wicked will perish.

Psalm 1

Blessed is the man
Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
Nor stands in the path of sinners,
Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
But his delight is in the law of the LORD,
And in His law he meditates day and night.
He shall be like a tree
Planted by the rivers of water,
That brings forth its fruit in its season,
Whose leaf also shall not wither;
And whatever he does shall prosper.

The ungodly are not so,
But are like the chaff which the wind drives away.
Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment,
Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
For the LORD knows the way of the righteous,
But the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Psalm 1

How happy is the man
who does not follow the advice of the wicked,
or take the path of sinners,
or join a group of mockers!
Instead, his delight is in the LORD's instruction,
and he meditates on it day and night.
He is like a tree planted beside the streams of water
that bears its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither.
Whatever he does prospers.

The wicked are not like this;
instead, they are like chaff that the wind blows away.
Therefore the wicked will not survive the judgment,
and sinners will not be in the community of the righteous.
For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous,
but the way of the wicked leads to ruin.

Salmo 1

Bulahan ang tawo
nga wala nagalakat sa laygay sang malauton,
ukon nagtindug sa dalanon sang mga makasasala,
ukon nagalingkod sa lingkoran sang mga mayubiton;
kondi and iya kawilihan yara sa kasogoan sang GINOO,
kag sa iya kasogoan
nagapamalandong sia sa adlaw kag gab-i.
Manginkaangay sia sang kahoy
nga natanum sa ubay sang mga kasulgan sang tubig,
nga nagapamunga sa iya panag-on,
ang iya dahon man indi malaya.
Ang bisan ano nga ginahimo niya nagauswag.

Indi subong sini and malauton,
kondi kaangay sang labhang nga
ginapalid sang hangin.
Busa indi makatindug ang
malauton sa hukmanan,
ukon and mga makasasala sa
katilingban sang mga matarung;
kay kilala sang GINOO ang dalanon
sang matarung,
apang and dalanon sang malauton mawala.

Lord, I ask for forgiveness in anything that I have done, thought, and said, as I continue to seek you diligently daily. Teach me more how to obey you and live a life that will only point to your only begotten Son, Lord Jesus. I love you LORD with all of my heart and with all of my soul and with all of my mind. And teach me Lord how to love my neighbor. (MATTHEW 22:37-39).

Tb,

Thank you for that reminder-school is keeping me busy. I have gotten so caught up in my studies, that I am forgetting my Heavenly Father. Cannot wait to come home-see you soon!
