Just want to start by saying....PRAISE GOD for instant answers to our prayers!! Isn't it grand to be a child of GOD? Yesterday at the corporate prayer meeting at our senior pastor's home we merely focus on thanking God ( thanksgiving celebration) on how the Lord has been faithfully blessing us this year. Each one of the us was given the privilege to say a prayer of "thankfulness" to the Lord . Little did I know that there would be a test coming its way today from the prayer that I expressed last night. At work I encountered a "Joseph and Potiphar's wife" (resisting temptation) and a "David and Goliath" (slaying the giant) experiences. Boy, ' tell yah, that was really tough! In my opinion, the level of difficulty was "far-fetch" by the world's standard but a "piece of cake" by God's standard. In light of this I'm thinking and hoping, by the grace of God, that I got a passing grade - how I dealt with the situations- on my "poP-QUIZ". What's heart-gripping about these two awkward and difficult situations is that they are just like any other situations we encounter in our daily lives- the Lord will never fail to deliver us from them all. I have a co-worker that always tells me that. He faithfully impresses on our hearts (as christians) that we are ambassadors for Jesus Christ and that if we are willing to obey His instructions to us then boom!!... He helps us overcome them...we become bold and courageous in handling any situations. Remember, nothing is impossible when GOD wills it, it is something that's been gracefully provided by God (it's sooo... precious and soooo (always)...there!!!) and all that we really have to do is to cooperate and blessings come after that. Isn't it great!!!(Only the TRIUNE GOD can do that. yes, sir-reee!:)...... Oh, how beautiful and pleasant it is to learn from the teachings of the Sovereign God, the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and the parakletos (helper) Holy Spirit! PRAISE THE LORD!
My background:
Men that are intelligent, rich, and handsome usually intimidate me. Are they real or are their motives pure? Thank God He has changed my perspectives on men. Those misguided opinions started fading away when I've actually seen men that have intimate relationships with the Lord. You see, when you experience unpleasant relationships in your life doubts develop in your heart and in your mind. The toughest issues, from a personal experience, are the men and women relationships . You know, those "heartbreakers" or even worse, those that "mislead" women (or vice-versa). That's a total turn off! But.....'must learn to let go and let God handle these "heart & mind" matters...... GRACE AND PEACE TO YOU ALL!
2 Timothy 2:15 says (NIV)...
Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctlly handles the word of truth.
